Provides indirect patient care on the nursing unit. Meets the communication needs of the patient / family, departmental staff and medical staff. Prepares and compiles patient records on the nursing unit. Initiates directions from physicians and nursing staff. Participates in performance improvement activities. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.
