About The Position

Responsible for assisting the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing unit by performing clerical and receptionist duties, and performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent preferred.
  • Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada Board of Nursing.
  • Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
  • Current CNA license in the State of Nevada.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
  • Job usually involves contact with patients or patient specimens. Exposure to blood, body fluids, non-intact skin or tissue specimens, is possible.
