About The Position

The position involves answering incoming phone calls and directing communication to appropriate team members. The role requires processing and documenting consults efficiently and accurately, as well as coordinating and setting up patient transport within the facility. Additionally, the position includes activating SEMI (Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis) alerts as needed following established protocols. The individual will support clinical staff in facilitating timely and effective care delivery, maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with departmental procedures, and perform additional administrative and clerical duties as required to support patient flow and operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting
  • Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of clinical workflows preferred
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of health care work experience, preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of steady work history
