About The Position

This unique two-year program allows select candidates to combine fellowship training with an attending general radiology role. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive and immersive experience, preparing trainees for a variety of private and academic settings while offering competitive compensation and benefits. The primary focus of the training will be on Musculoskeletal (MSK), Neurological (Neuro), and Breast Imaging, with approximately 75% of the training dedicated to these areas. The secondary focus will include MSK, Neuro, Cardiac, Body, Prostate, and other imaging modalities, accounting for about 25% of the training allocation. Participants will benefit from personalized lectures and case reviews with eminent radiology authorities, including Dr. Stephen Pomeranz and Dr. Donald Resnick. Daily readouts will be conducted alongside an expert radiologist from ProScan, with Dr. Pomeranz personally overseeing approximately 50% of these sessions, ensuring direct mentorship and guidance. Additionally, fellows will participate in case conferences and interdisciplinary lectures, particularly in neurosurgery and urology, fostering a multifaceted learning experience. The program also emphasizes self-paced learning through a partnership with Medality/MRI Online, providing access to over 700 hours of case-based and micro-learning courses. ProScan's 35+ years of experience in radiology education and fellowship training, combined with a robust nationwide teleradiology infrastructure, positions it uniquely to offer a distinguished fellowship program. ProScan Imaging Fellows are recognized as some of the most proficient and productive MR radiologists globally, thanks to their extensive experience in state-of-the-art imaging techniques and high case volumes in advanced imaging. Fellows will manage high clinical volumes with a diverse case mix, including musculoskeletal, spine, brain, head and neck, abdomen and body, breast, cardiovascular, and other advanced imaging modalities. The facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including ultrasound, a pulmonary function lab, robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS). This program not only allows fellows to earn an attending salary while building specialized skills but also provides robust support, including a reading services team, fellowship support staff, and advanced PACS/RIS systems.
