About The Position

Sanipac, a Waste Connections company is looking for a safety conscious Yard Laborer to join the team in Eugene, Oregon. . Schedule: 4/10 Schedule, Mon-Fri, (Days may be non-consecutive ) 4:00am-2:30pm with occasional overtime . Driver's License Required: Must have a clean driving record. MUST PASS: DOT drug screening Criminal background check Motor vehicle record screening . Competitive Compensation: Starting Pay $24.53/hr You will be eligible for the comprehensive benefit package that has been negotiated by the Company and Union. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manual labor including paper picking, keeping yard clean and presentable. Washing, repairing, and assembling trash bins and containers Traffic management. Perform yard work including cutting weeds. Perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work. Working outside in all weather conditions. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Operates skid steer and forklift. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. . MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Valid Driver’s License with Clean driving record. Pass Criminal Background Check, Drug panel Screening, and Motor Vehicle Report Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English. Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Requirements
