About The Position
The National Education Association (NEA), America's largest organization committed to advancing the cause of public education, seeks a Union Strength & Affiliate Communications Manager, within the NEA's Center for Communications. Headquartered in Washington, DC, NEA proudly claims more than 3 million members devoted to the following mission: to advocate for education professionals and to unite our members and the nation to fulfill the promise of public education by preparing every student to succeed in a diverse and interdependent world. This position is dedicated to strengthening partnerships with NEA's affiliates, providing them with tools, strategies, and communication support to increase their impact. By fostering collaboration, addressing unique affiliate needs, and implementing responsive and proactive communications, the Affiliate Manager will help build the capacity of affiliates to drive successful campaigns, support member engagement, and amplify NEA's values of equity, advocacy, and educational excellence in communities nationwide.
