About The Position

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (Class A not required)
• Minimum of one year of experience in waste management, trucking, or heavy equipment operation
• Must not have held more than three jobs in the past five years
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic knowledge of truck components for pre- and post-trip inspections

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a rear-load garbage truck along designated routes
• Collect refuse and recyclables according to route sheets
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
• Operate hydraulic controls to lift and dispose of waste
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling items over 100 lbs
