We are looking for a Union Terminal Operator to operate a Light Products Petroleum Terminal, including receipt of products, oversight of product quality and testing, inventory maintenance, environmental compliance, and loading of trucks. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are necessary. Compensation Data$53.34/hour. This is a Union Role. Wages are based on the collective bargaining agreement.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Live within 20 minutes of the Terminal
Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.

Nice To Haves

Petroleum industry experience
Experience in a light product terminal or an oil refinery
Experience or knowledge of hazards associated with handling petroleum fuels
Basic equipment operation skills
Mechanical skills

Responsibilities

Document and accurately measure movement of petroleum product through the terminal.
Provide efficient 24/7 operation of loading rack by maintaining rack equipment, additive systems, and training truck drivers using the loading rack.
Coordinate pipeline and additive receipts to maintain a consistent product supply and product quality.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
