About The Position

Diagnosis and repair problems in fluidic, mechanical, and electric systems with assistance. Fabrication of articles from a variety of materials from a working drawing or blueprint. Perform building repairs involving roofs, carpentry, plumbing, electrical distribution, and masonry. Repair or replace worn or defective parts. Repair or replace refractory of slot type furnaces. Install conduit and water or air lines. Install and move production equipment of all types. Miscellaneous duties include performing any lower-level duties and participating in training programs. Responsible for diagnosing breakdowns of equipment and facilities. Determining procedures to be used to carry out the repair using drawings, maintenance manuals, manufacturer’s manuals, and instructions. Use the principles of rigging and equipment installation. Responsible for any maintenance personnel assigned to the job. Must be willing to support ongoing maintenance activities on any shift, including weekends as needed with reasonable notice. Must have vast industrial Mechanical and Electrical experience and skills. Product Incentive Program: Channellock encourages and rewards productivity by offering a company-wide incentive program based on a calculation aimed at reducing the number of hours it takes to ship 100 pairs of pliers. The lower the number of hours to produce the product, the higher the payout per hour earned. Payments are made every 4 weeks. Sign-on Bonus: Channellock offers a sign-on bonus of $500 to eligible new hires.
