Requirements

  • Must have at least 6 months of construction experience
  • Must have the ability to work and travel extensively, the potential to be away from home weeks on end is high.
  • Desire and ability to learn via computer and on-the-job training
  • Safety mindset and ability to read, understand, and follow policies and procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills: proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

Nice To Haves

  • Possess a valid Class A CDL
  • Experience with Shotcrete and/or Drilling
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with operating heavy equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Mix ingredients to create compounds, like grout and concrete
  • Move hoses and operate shotcrete or grouting pumps
  • Read plans, instructions, or specifications and measure, mark, or record openings or distances to perform tasks
  • Use tablets, phones, computers, or other electronic devices for work tasks
  • Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
  • Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations according to project plans or specifications
  • Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools
  • Provide assistance to craft workers
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
