The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Uniformed Security Officer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people worldwide. Here, you will make an impact by: Monitor, operate, interpret, and interact with multiple technical tools to detect threats and risks to 3M’s personnel, assets, and reputation. Manage incidents and emergencies, including the execution of procedures, coordination of resources, and on-scene response. Provide professional and effective customer service to internal and external customers. Perform campus and building security patrols. Complete incident and activity reports in a clear and concise manner Complete training for basic First Aid/CPR and AED Be a strong team player with the ability to work independently, as needed. Provide escorts to employees and visitors, as necessary. Carry out all job duties and responsibilities in compliance with corporate policies and departmental procedures and standards. Perform other related duties, as required. This position will fill the vacancy for a 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Overnight) shift with rotating days off (includes overnight shift pay differential) Company Vehicle This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Two (2) years of experience in a security-related role in a private, public, government, or military environment
• Current, valid Driver’s License

• Ability to lift and carry at least 35 pounds of emergency equipment.
• Flexibility and ability to work all shifts (24/7 operations), willing to work overtime, as needed.

• Strong interpersonal and listening skills; a great degree of emotional intelligence and maturity.
• A quick learner with the ability to multi-task
