About The Position

As a Uniform Security Officer at DK Security, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of various client properties. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a drug screening at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
• No felony convictions and no misdemeanors related to dishonesty or violence.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for 8-12 hours, including up and down stairs.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to see clearly at least 20 feet away, with corrective lenses if necessary.
• Ability to hear conversations in loud environments.
• Proficient in using a smart mobile phone or computer for communication and training.
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Possess excellent customer service skills and personal integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and visitors.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
• Maintain a visible security presence in and around designated areas.
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned locations.
• Control access to restricted areas and verify identification of employees and vendors.
• Ensure a safe environment by enforcing policies and reporting safety concerns.
• Assist in emergencies, including administering CPR/First Aid/AED care.
• Communicate effectively with client staff and keep supervisors updated on client interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
