The Uniform Production- Flat Goods operator is a full-time position. working 4–10-hour days, Monday through Thursday (most weeks), from 6a to 430pm. The Flat Goods Operator is responsible for helping to build routes for delivery and replenish inventory for future delivery dates by folding, bundling, sorting, and visually inspecting Flat Good Products such as dust mops, towels, aprons, gloves, etc. This position requires ability to: Visually inspect flat good items for stains, tears, holes or other defects. Ability to become familiar with and understand product types. Ability to help mainitain proper storage for flat good items. Ability to audit and build routes. Ability to audit 2x/day (3 random bundles and 1 cart) High degree of attention to detail The physical requirements for this role include: Ability to stand for 10 hours shifts. Ability to use both hands repetitively. Ability to move/push/pull and carry up to 25 lbs. consistently. Ability to multi-task WORK ENVIRONMENT: Environment may include exposure to noise, cramped quarters, unpleasant odors, dirt, and heavily soiled mat & mops. While inside 98% of the time, temperatures may vary from a low of 60 degrees to a high of 90 degrees depending on weather conditions. Uniform Production Co-workers will go out on a route periodically in the company of a Service Rep, work closely with not only the Plant Managers & Route Service Reps. Ability to communicate, follow through, & follow up in both verbal & written form. Uniform production coworkers enjoy a 4-day work week, working 4-ten-hour days from 6a-430pm. Pay increases at 6 months, 12 months, and 24 months, as well as a generous signing bonus of $600, with partial pay out after 9 weeks and 6 months.
