About The Position

The iconic The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton is looking for their next Uniform Attendant to join their team. This stunning 1,000 room oceanfront resort is the perfect getaway with two beachside pools, a "Dip & Slide" splash pad for kids, stunning views, delicious dining options and 1,000 linear ft. of Alabaster Beach. Ideal Candidate will have at least one year of Sewing, Alterations, Laundry and Customer Service experience and will be able to communicate and understand the English language. Shift Pattern: Full Availability - Candidate will work rotating shifts throughout the week, including weekends and holidays. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Seamstress /tailor experience
Hospitality experience

Responsibilities

Receive, record, store and distribute clean, pressed team member uniforms
Wash and iron team member uniforms and guest clothing, as needed
Arrange dry cleaning and laundry processing
Provide laundry, pressing, sewing, and other similar services to guests
Press shower curtains and banquet table skirting
Deliver guest requests of towels and other miscellaneous items, as needed
Perform Room Attendant duties, as needed
Maintain linen room and uniform store
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
