About The Position
The Washington Education Association (WEA) is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Advocacy & Organizing Center. This position is focused on building strong local unions and supporting WEA members in their efforts to exercise power at both state and local levels. The successful candidate will negotiate and enforce local collective bargaining agreements, advocate for racial, social, and economic justice, and provide support for various member and community organizing efforts. The role requires collaboration with union leadership, staff, and community groups, as well as participation in political and legislative activities. The position is based in the WEA-Southeast office in Kennewick, WA, and may require in-state and out-of-state travel.
