About The Position
The Department of Labor (DOL) is currently seeking a qualified current DOL employee to join our Delinquent Accounts Unit as an Unemployment Compensation Tax Administration Supervisor. This role is based in our central office in Wethersfield, CT. In this role, you will oversee the Delinquent Accounts Unit (DAU), managing staff such as Revenue Examiner 3, Revenue Examiner 2, Revenue Examiner 1, and other Revenue Agents. The role involves supervising the collection of delinquent employer accounts and making decisions regarding uncollectible balances. Responsibilities include reviewing staff performance, ensuring work accuracy and productivity, preparing performance appraisals, assisting with disciplinary actions, and representing the Unit at hearings. The supervisor also trains new staff and handles difficult accounts.
