About The Position
The Underwriting Trainee is an entry level position at Capital Insurance Group (CIG), which is a leading West Coast Property & Casualty insurer. This role is designed for individuals who are looking to start their career in insurance, with no prior experience required. The Trainee will undergo a comprehensive 6-12 month training program within the Underwriter Development and Audit department. Success in this initial phase will lead to regional on-the-job training, and upon meeting performance expectations, the Trainee may be promoted to an Associate Underwriter role.
