About The Position
Manage an operations underwriting area. Provide leadership and technical support through management of people, systems, and processes. Manages the underwriting activities to provide products and services to customers that balance profit and growth. Establish, implements, and monitors underwriting standards for risk selection to achieve divisional and department goals. Maintain primary authority for underwriting decisions. May specialize in one or more products within property/casualty or specialty areas. Products, processes, and systems vary by division or company. You will report to the Underwriting Senior Manager. In this hybrid role, you will work a minimum of 10 days per month from the office. You should reside within approximately 50 miles of one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034.
