Liberty MutualAtlanta, GA

About The Position

Our War & Terrorism underwriters focus on answering two fundamental questions: Should we issue a policy for a business? What is a fair price for the risk we would incur by providing that policy? At first glance, these questions may seem straightforward, but as a Liberty Mutual Insurance War & Terrorism underwriter, you will need a curiosity that drives you to dig deeper for answers. You will utilize your strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Underwriters are natural problem solvers who are dedicated to understanding our customers and determining how we can profitably accept the risks associated with our policies. Our War & Terrorism insurance protects businesses against property damage and business interruption resulting from attacks that are politically, religiously, or ideologically motivated. As an Underwriting Specialist, you will contribute to the growth and profitability of the portfolio through marketing, underwriting, and servicing our policyholders’ risks. Underwriters are accountable for the business performance of the entire global product line within Liberty Specialty Markets, and for specific individual entities in North America, including Liberty Mutual and Ironshore.
