Requirements

This position requires an Arizona Property & Casualty License. If you do not have a current license, you will need to be able to obtain one quickly after hire.
Insurance industry experience is a must.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is a 100% onsite role in the Tucson, Arizona area. The individual hired will be expected to cover two office locations (at the following addresses): 7872 N Oracle Rd Oro Valley, Az 85704 And: 105 S Houghton Rd Tucson, Az 85748
WORK HOURS: The work hours for this role are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm local Arizona time

Responsibilities

Generates new business opportunities and sells new business policies
Provides exceptional customer service through face-to-face, telephone or written inquiries from clients regarding coverage, rating and billing procedures
Determines acceptability of new & renewal business per the company's Underwriting rules and guidelines using information gathered from insured, brush fire reports, motor vehicle records, CLUE reports, inspections and risk notices from claims
Services existing policies as well as soliciting additional lines of business or coverages through cross-selling
Updates rating information and verifies accuracy of policy information
Provides rate and coverage information to prospective clients' inquiries
Special projects as assigned by management
