We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Home Underwriting Department. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our underwriting processes, helping us provide exceptional service for our customers and agents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in home underwriting, quality assurance, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines, regulations, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and constructively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive audits and quality reviews of home underwriting files to ensure compliance with internal guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Execute targeted reviews of new underwriting initiatives related to both new business and renewal workflows.
  • Analyze underwriting decisions to identify trends, opportunities for process improvement, and training needs. This will involve collaborating to drive quality improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Own the department’s annual agency audit process to ensure compliance.
  • Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and communicate feedback to department leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of quality assurance standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor quality metrics and support the creation of dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and underwriting requirements affecting home insurance.
