Position Come join WCF insurance as an Underwriting Intern for an educational hands-on approach to learning about insurance and mitigating risk. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), temporary position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters for the summer. After the internship, there is a possibility of a part-time or full-time position in the Meridian office. Work part-time while you attend school with full benefits or move into a full-time role as an underwriter if graduated. Program runs May 11-July 31. First week is paid travel to Salt Lake City, Utah for training.
Requirements
- Interest in learning about insurance.
- Completed three to four years of higher education.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong MS Office skills required, especially in Excel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills; inquisitive and curious.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
