About The Position

The Underwriting Associate position at TEKsystems involves evaluating risks for various lines of business using company underwriting criteria. The role includes independent verification of insured operations, processing change requests on in-force policies, and evaluating policies at renewal. The associate will also participate in training for new products and assist in training Underwriter Analyst Trainees as needed, along with contributing to special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize company underwriting criteria to evaluate risks for various lines of business
  • Perform independent verification of insured's operations
  • Review and process change requests on in-force policies
  • Evaluate in-force policies at renewal
  • Participate in Underwriting Training for new products, directives and processes
  • Participate in Training of Underwriter Analyst Trainees as needed
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
