About The Position

Our client, a prominent player in the insurance industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Underwriting Associate to join their team in Pittston PA. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Assist in evaluating and analyzing risks for various insurance policies.
Review applications, financial statements, and other relevant documents.
Collaborate with senior underwriters to determine appropriate coverage and pricing.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of underwriting decisions.
Communicate with agents and brokers to gather necessary information and clarify details.
