About The Position

As an Underwriting Assistant in our Peoria, AZ office, you will play a crucial role in supporting our underwriting teams and ensuring that we deliver outstanding service to our agent and broker partners. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the underwriting process. Your day-to-day activities will include working closely with your underwriting team to support their premium production goals, assisting with marketing and sales efforts, and ensuring that our key agents and brokers receive the support they need. You will also be involved in creating and issuing new and renewal bond documents, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with bond term transactions. Your ability to research and resolve billing discrepancies will be vital in maintaining our high standards of service. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry. While experience in Surety is preferred, we are open to candidates with a background in general insurance or financial services.
