About The Position

The Underwriting Assistant is responsible for the verification of customer contracts prior to or after funding. They will take inbound phone calls and forward them to the appropriate team as well as completing any administrative duties. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• 2 years of experience in Credit, Customer Service, or related work experience, required
• Financial industry experience preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment

Responsibilities

• Greets customers by phone in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
• Collect all necessary information to accurately note accounts and applications
• Ensure timely verification of contracts in support of company objectives
• Ability to recognize problems and effectively communicate to the proper team for resolution
