The Underwriting Assistant will be focused on using the automation systems to plan, coordinate and complete a high volume of transactions (e.g., obtaining information and managing account documentation such as proposals, internal risk evaluation documents, etc.), in support of our Underwriters or Agency representatives. Your job is to make it easy to get things done by providing fast, high quality service experiences. Responsible for prepping new business issues, book consolidation quotes, renewal transactions, essential services, and direct support to the Underwriters. Communicates with Agent to obtain needed and required underwriting information. Uses Policy Center and other automation systems to plan, coordinate and complete work. WORK ARRANGEMENTS: This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations (Charlotte, NC, San Antonio, TX, Clinton, NY) will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.
