About The Position

Travel Guard is seeking a detail-oriented and data-savvy Underwriting Analyst to join our team in Stevens Point, WI. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our underwriting operations through data analysis, report generation, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll work closely with internal teams to deliver insights that drive smarter decisions. If you're proficient in Excel and eager to grow your career, this is a great opportunity—while the role doesn't include underwriting authority at the start, we offer robust training to help you build toward that responsibility and beyond.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Underwriting or business-related experience.
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively multi-task and problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Run and provide internal reports using Excel as requested.
• Assist with month end tasks, confirming numbers and reviewing reports.
• Complete offboarding account requests.
• Offer recommendations within your team and collaborate with other internal departments we support.
• Complete contract renewals and policy exception requests.
• Update tracking logs and enter/update account information into company database.
