Brown & Brown is seeking an Underwriting Account Manager to join our growing team in Carmel, IN! The Underwriting Account Manager will provide support in obtaining, maintaining, and servicing all assigned accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for processing renewals and endorsements, working with sales producer, agent, and underwriter to confirm timely completion and accuracy of renewal questionnaires and other necessary documents and maintaining required documentation. How You Will Contribute: Issue renewal and new business policies on a timely basis, reviewing for accuracy. Maintain required documentation. Process cancellation requests in adherence to agency procedures. Process invoices with timeliness and accuracy. Process the distribution of certificates of insurance and related activities. Process claims from brokers and direct clients with appropriate carrier. Provide information as requested to agents or insureds concerning policies, coverages, and procedures. Support general agency operations through share duties including telephones, mail, marketing, accounting, producer support, audit, and other assigned duties. Pursue a course of professional development.

Requirements

  • Indiana Property & Casualty Producer License
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline (preferred)
  • 1-3 years experience in in a professional setting
  • High School diploma supplemented by college-level business course work
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Insurance designation such as CISR, or AINS
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline (preferred)
