Responsibilities
- Conduct transactional underwriting for high net worth clients.
- Collaborate with risk management to improve risk profiles.
- Innovate processes and solutions within the underwriting team.
- Build strong relationships with agents and provide coaching on new business solutions.
- Consult with agents to clarify underwriting appetite and risk selection.
- Utilize technology tools to monitor and manage the quality of the book of business.
- Work with Distribution and Marketing to create business-driving plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5+ years of high net worth personal lines underwriting experience.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Natural curiosity and a love for learning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and integrity.
- Strong customer service orientation.
Nice-to-haves
- Flexibility to work an alternate schedule for West Coast customers.
- Ability to travel as needed, including overnight travel.
