About The Position
As a CBRE Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in the evaluation of complex multifamily loan requests, working closely with the Underwriting management team. This position is integral to the Loan Operations function, which manages all aspects of the loan process for financial institutions. Your responsibilities will include reviewing, amending, and preparing narratives and packages for new loan requests, ensuring that all submissions are thorough and accurate. You will check and prepare field underwriting submissions for the loan committee, as well as finalize investor packages for delivery. In this role, you will evaluate underwriting due diligence information and integrate real estate data from market research reports and other third-party sources. You will also be responsible for investigating and submitting post-closing underwriting delivery packages. Your work will require a general knowledge of standard principles and techniques, allowing you to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems effectively. You will be expected to lead by example, modeling behaviors that align with CBRE's RISE values, and you may need to negotiate to reach agreements. Your impact will extend beyond your own work, influencing the quality of the work produced by your team. You will primarily operate within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines, while also explaining complex information in straightforward terms to others.
