At CCMSI, underwriting is more than reviewing applications—it's about making informed decisions that help protect clients, strengthen programs, and drive results. As a leading Third Party Administrator and certified Great Place to Work®, we combine employee ownership, professional growth opportunities, and a collaborative culture where every team member contributes to our success. As an Underwriter I, you'll review individual risks for assigned programs, analyze data, and determine underwriting acceptability under the guidance of supervisors. You'll also handle policy data entry, routine maintenance, and support the underwriting team with special projects. This is a hybrid role following an initial in-office training period of up to 6 months. Once training is complete, you'll typically work 2-3 days in the office per week with flexibility for remote days. Please note: This is an entry-level underwriting position. As part of your onboarding, you'll complete a structured 12-week training course to build your knowledge of underwriting basics and set you up for long-term success and advancement within the department.
