About The Position
The position involves reviewing and analyzing consumer credit applications for auto loans. The candidate will evaluate credit bureau reports, income documentation, collateral valuation, and other supporting materials. They will be responsible for making sound credit decisions within established authority levels using both automated scoring systems and manual underwriting. Clear communication of decisions and rationale to internal partners and customers is essential. The role also requires ensuring credit files are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and company standards. Collaboration with internal teams to resolve application issues and provide recommendations is expected, along with maintaining awareness of risk and compliance requirements throughout the underwriting process.
