Position Overview: Are you an aspiring insurance professional eager to break into the world of sales? We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Underwriter to join our team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of underwriting by assisting in the evaluation of transportation risks, including trucking, business auto, and commercial auto.
• Support senior underwriters in analyzing risk factors and determining appropriate placement within market appetites.
• Develop strong relationships with carriers and clients through effective communication and service.
• Gain hands-on experience by reviewing and processing applications, endorsements, and renewals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct market research to understand trends and opportunities within the transportation sector.
• Potential to participate in training programs designed to prepare you for a future in sales.
