Installing underground cables for power transmission, power distribution, renewable energy and communication networks is a necessary step in hardening the electrical grid, delivering reliable communication networks, and integrating renewable energy into our existing systems. As an Underground Power and Communications Laborer, your key responsibilities will be installing and upgrading telecommunication networks along with loading, unloading, and transporting materials onto the job site for underground utility construction.
Requirements
- A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
- Willingness to work under a union collective bargaining agreement
- A Commercial Driver’s License or the ability to obtain
- Travel Required
