Critical infrastructure starts below the surface. The Underground Inspector plays a hands-on role in protecting system reliability by entering, evaluating, and documenting underground utility assets in real world field conditions. This is a boots on the ground position for someone who takes pride in doing the work safely, thoroughly, and without shortcuts. We are looking for a field professional who is comfortable in confined spaces, confident working around active utility infrastructure, and disciplined in documenting conditions with precision. You will inspect manholes, vaults, and related underground structures to verify compliance with utility standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering specifications. Your work directly supports engineering decisions, compliance initiatives, and long-term asset performance. This is not a desk role. It is a field execution role that requires accountability, attention to detail, and strong situational awareness. Why This Role Matters You are the first line of visibility into underground system conditions. Your documentation becomes the foundation for engineering reviews, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting. Your commitment to safety and accuracy protects crews, clients, and communities. You represent Trident in the field and reinforce our standard of disciplined execution on every site.
