About The Position

Overview Title: Underground Field Supervisor LOCATION: Various construction site locations in Arizona and surrounding area. JOB SUMMARY: The field supervisor is responsible to communicate instructions, set expectations and supervise the construction crews. They organize, plan, schedule, and delegate work, labor, and equipment.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED) combined with a minimum of 5 year's construction experience required.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and problem solve.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with crews, and customers.
  • Ability to perform manual labor and move at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to remote or distant locations.
  • The successful candidate must be safety conscious with a record of working safely in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or some college education with construction experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the specific scopes of work on construction projects including: the management of crews, subcontractors, and materials delivery.
  • Assist in the organization, planning, scheduling, and delegation of work, labor, and equipment.
  • Communicate needs for: man-power, material quantities, and equipment.
  • Review, understand, and adhere to all union contracts.
  • Supervise craft workers assigned to you.
  • Complete craft time cards to accurately reflect hours worked.
  • Coordinate clean-up after project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
  • Maintain an insurable driving record.
