About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited, student-only position at the Recreation Center. The role involves providing excellent customer service to patrons, enforcing policies, and performing various operational tasks. Students may work up to 20 hours per week at a rate of $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all patrons of the Recreation Center
• Consistently enforce all policies of the Recreation Center
• Perform opening and closing procedures as necessary
• Check and Scan OneCard of eligible users & operate computer software efficiently
• Process electronic transactions through BlackBoard
• Perform equipment checkout / inventory procedures
• Assist patrons with membership application process
• Assist with consistent cleaning and disinfecting of fitness equipment
• Provide support during medical emergencies (CPR/AED) as needed
• Respond to staff internal communication in a timely and professional manner
• Attend scheduled meeting and training sessions
