Undergrad student wage position for less than 10 hours per week. The undergraduate student in this role will provide onsite digitization support for 5–10 hours per week in the Presidential Oral History Program (POHP) at the UVA Miller Center. Working within the Miller Center, the Digitization Assistant will perform digitization—scanning, post-processing, quality control, and progress tracking—for selected collections of POHP records. The Digitization Assistant will work with POHP staff to follow program policies for handling physical assets, meet standards for digitization, and collaborate on project activities and progress. Tasks include scanning, filing, copying, and assisting with maintenance of program records. Candidate must be able to follow oral and written instructions with accuracy, complete tasks with a high degree of promptness and reliability, maintain absolute discretion while working with confidential materials, and demonstrate superior attention to detail.
