About The Position

The Undergraduate Research Assistant position at Carnegie Mellon University's Neuroscience Institute involves supporting research initiatives in Multisensory Neuroscience. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered
  • Successful background check investigation

Responsibilities

  • Working with participants to gather data during in-person experiments examining language perception and hearing
  • Learning how to calibrate and use research equipment such as an eye tracker, audiometer, and experimental software
  • Organizing and managing research documentation
  • Assisting with data consolidation and analysis in Excel and R
  • Collaborating with researchers from many different backgrounds and skill sets to design and refine novel paradigms
