Reporting to the Associate Director of Recruitment and Admissions within the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, the Undergraduate Recruitment and Portfolio Coordinator assumes significant responsibility for recruiting undergraduate art and architecture students and stewarding relationships with key referral contacts. This position partners with the WashU Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Sam Fox School undergraduate chairs to implement strategic recruitment plans that align with the overall undergraduate recruitment goals of the University. The primary goal for this position is to increase the number of referrals, visits, applications, and yields to the Sam Fox School undergraduate programs. The Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at WashU in St. Louis is a unique collaboration in architecture, art, and design education within the context of an internationally recognized research university. Comprising the College of Architecture and Graduate School of Architecture & Urban Design, the College and Graduate School of Art, and the Mildred Lane Kemper Museum, the Sam Fox School offers a depth of professional education in conjunction with one of the premier university art museums. The School has a strong commitment to social justice, environmental justice, and community-based work. Must be able to travel by ground and air to various locations across the United States.
