About The Position
Under the direction of Emerson Practice Associates (EPA) management, the undergraduate internship is intern experience for undergraduate students interested in clinical and administrative roles in the Ambulatory Healthcare setting. A member of EPA Management will serve as the internship preceptor. The intern will support clinical or administrative functions at one of EPA's locations. The Undergraduate Internship will last for a specified length of time and will have an end date that is mutually agreed upon by both parties prior to the Intern's start.
Requirements
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a bachelor's or associate's degree in a healthcare related field.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Leadership, independence, and initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated and teamwork-oriented
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Presentation and facilitation skills
- Organizational skills
- Interest in the management of physician practices
