About The Position

The Undergraduate Information Technology Internship at the Nevada National Security Site offers students hands-on experience in various IT projects under the supervision of a manager and mentor. Requirements

• Completion of the first year in a computer science degree program at an accredited institution
• Declared degree must pertain to the department to which the student will be assigned
• Must be actively enrolled in school
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Located in the contiguous United States
• Planning/organizing skills and initiative
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office and computer programming
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential
