The Undergraduate Education Department was awarded the Frank Murray award through our national accreditation body, Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) in 2023. Description of Position The Department of Undergraduate Education is a flexibly organized team with a focus on continuous improvement. The program coordinator role exists to support the faculty and students of the department of undergraduate education. This is a full-time, hourly, position and reports to the Department Chair.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree
  • Two (2) - Four (4) years of experience in a similar or equal role
  • Intermediate competency with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and teach others
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to problem solve
  • All candidates must have a Christian perspective (preferably in the Wesleyan tradition), and must be comfortable with and in agreement with the mission and lifestyle values of NNU

Responsibilities

  • Provides office and administrative support services for the Department of Undergraduate Education during regular office hours.
  • Maintains confidential student data and records.
  • Monitors student program progression from admittance to certification.
  • Supports program professors and adjunct faculty with supplies, course materials, technology requests and issues.
  • Compiles reports for accreditation, as well as federal and state compliance statistics.
  • Tracks student data from a variety of sources and compiles for reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
