About The Position

Undergraduate Course Assistants will assist 1st year medical students in anatomy dissections (48 hours). Undergraduate Course Assistants should demonstrate an ability to teach human anatomy in the anatomy lab and be able to facilitate student dissections of the limbs. Undergraduate Course Assistants will also participate in the supervision and facilitation of anatomy review time (6 hours). Sixteen (16) laboratory sessions (at 3 hours each) are part of the FMD curriculum. Labs will be held May 20th through June 8th. Reviews will be held June 10th & 11th.

Requirements

  • Must have previous cadaveric dissection experience and laboratory experience in human anatomy on topics relevant to the course description.
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, experience with limb (upper and lower) dissection and good communication skills are essential.
