About The Position

Assists in designing an interview script. Conduct one-hour, semi-structured interviews with faculty members of various ranks within the School of Computer Science. Assists in generating and analyzing qualitative data from interviews. Assists in preparing a report on research findings.

Requirements

  • Curious, organized, conscientious
  • Native-level English speaker
  • Comfortable conducting interviews with Computer Science faculty members at McGill
  • Background in psychology of education or theory of education
  • Training in qualitative research methods
  • Prior experience working in a research lab
  • Basic grasp of computer science (COMP 202, COMP 250)
  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
  • English communication both verbally and in writing.
