The position is for a Student Employee in the University Advancement department, classified as part-time and non-benefit eligible, with a pay rate of IL State minimum wage.

  • Responsible for administrative duties and tasks on a daily basis.
  • Managing phone calls, calendar scheduling, and greeting individuals from events such as Phonathons, Alumni Achievement Awards, Homecoming, Career Fairs, Scholarship Luncheon Campus Tours, etc.
  • Representing Benedictine University positively to prospective, former, and current students, clients, suppliers, stakeholders, employers, and the community.
  • Managing and overseeing front office operations including phone calls, e-mails, and calendar scheduling.
  • Acting as University Advancement Liaison across all constituents including students, faculty/staff, employers, and alumni.
  • Assisting in preparations for University Advancement events, which varies from administrative work to physical activity.
  • Attending any and all University Advancement events in support and/or ambassador-type roles.
  • Must be a currently enrolled Benedictine student in good standing.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills/abilities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing deadlines and deliver work in a timely manner.
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about Benedictine University and able to speak to the mission and vision.
