About The Position

The Information Technology Department is seeking several students to fill part-time openings in our IT Support Services area. Preferred applicants will have computer and customer service experience. Students in all majors are encouraged to apply and applications will be accepted until all openings are filled. Students are expected to work between 10-20 hours per week. While the hours are typically scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, some flexibility to work outside these times may occasionally be necessary.

Requirements

  • Must be a currently enrolled Benedictine student in good standing
  • Computer literate with specific proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Desire 2 Learn (D2L), and MyBenU
  • Clear and pleasant speaking voice with excellent customer service skills
  • 2.5 minimum GPA

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with password resets
  • Connecting end users to WIFI
  • Answering phones
  • Assigning tickets in our help-desk ticketing system
  • Filling printers with paper and toner
  • Assisting the Audio-Visual team with events
