Come join us in delivering better outcomes for our clients around the world! 2026 Undergraduate Summer Intern – Job Posting Department Title: Undergrad Intern – US Wealth Management Private Markets Sales Position Summary: US Wealth Management Private Markets Associate The Private Markets Associate partners closely with Private Markets Director, product specialists, and key platform relationships to drive awareness and capital raising for Franklin Templeton’s private markets investment strategies including private equity, private credit, real estate, and infrastructure. Our team helps educate financial advisors, support new product launches, and ensure that advisors and platforms have the tools and insights needed to bring private markets to their clients. We focus on driving sales growth through data-driven targeting, deep relationship management, and strategic engagement across wirehouses, RIAs, and national accounts. Department goals and initiatives: Expand distribution and advisor adoption of Franklin Templeton’s private markets capabilities. Leverage data and collaboration to identify high-potential advisors and opportunities for growth. Support new product launches and key strategic initiatives across top partner platforms. How this intern impacts success: The intern will play a meaningful role in supporting sales campaigns, analyzing data, refining sales materials, and strengthening relationships with financial advisors and home office partners. Their work will directly support revenue generation and strategic growth initiatives across the Private Markets business. An intern in this department can expect to learn: How private market products (private equity, private credit, real estate) are structured, marketed, and distributed. How internal and external sales teams collaborate to drive business growth and client engagement. How to interpret sales and advisor data to identify trends, target opportunities, and support decision-making. Best practices in communication, presentation, and relationship management in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Interest in finance, asset management, or private markets.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data tools a plus.
  • Curiosity, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting internal sales efforts through data analysis, advisor outreach tracking, and follow-up materials.
  • Assisting with product and platform marketing initiatives, including launch communications and content updates.
  • Building dashboards and reports to monitor pipeline, advisor activity, and event impact.
  • Partnering with the broader Private Markets Distribution and Marketing teams on strategic campaigns or projects.
