This 11-week remote internship will be in Amgen Global Supply Chain (GSC) with a 40 hour per week commitment from June 2 - August 15, 2025. Amgen GSC's mission is to enable growth and maximize profitability by partnering across the value chain, balancing agility and efficiency, while ensuring quality and service and provide Amgen with world-class planning, procurement, warehousing, and distribution services that deliver a competitive advantage. With the support of their hiring manager, the intern will develop a strategy that may result in a meaningful change to the business. Using their analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills, the intern will work cross-functionally to clarify the problem, measure the current state, and develop recommendations through qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older.
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent.
  • Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing.
  • Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university.
  • Must not be employed at the time the internship starts.
  • Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship or co-op.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree concentration(s) in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline, such as Biotechnology.
  • Ability to learn new experimental methods.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct research.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects consecutively.
  • Demonstrated ability to bring structure to complex problems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory policies.
